Hi there! I’m Jasmine, and while I was born and raised in Virginia, I’ve found my home in the sunny, mountainous southwest for the past decade.
When I’m not coaching, you can find me immersed in a good book (or several), flowing on my yoga mat, hiking in the wilderness, or cooking up something spicy. My life is joyfully shared with a wonderful husband, a lively bunch of animals including dogs, a cat, goats, and chickens, all of whom bring endless smiles and moments of reflection.
My journey to becoming a coach has been profoundly shaped by my past experiences. For years I struggled with finding self-worth through codependent relationships and substance abuse. My need to be needed and my enmeshment in toxic patterns left me disconnected from my true Self, and utterly discouraged by life itself.
Through an ongoing process of healing and self-discovery, I learned to untangle myself from harmful influences, and to develop resilience, emotional intelligence, & a deep appreciation for fulfilling, interdependent relationships. Though marked by painful challenges, these experiences equipped with unique insights and skills that I bring to my professional sphere.
Through my 10+ years of working in behavioral health, I’ve assisted hundreds of people in setting & achieving goals to align with their values. By helping others navigate their own paths to self-discovery and healthy connections, I have the privilege of witnessing their lives bloom in incredible ways.

Rather than allowing your emotional state to be dependent on your partner, we will work on incorporating emotional intelligence skills that are independently yours.
Experience & Education
Jasmine (she/her) is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, with additional certifications in Peer Support Work, Hypnosis, NLP, TEFL/TESOL, and Yoga teaching. She graduated from Old Dominion University (what up 757?!) in Human Services/Psychology and has over a decade of behavioral health/ social work experience supporting & empowering people with myriad backgrounds, demographics, diagnoses and needs. A recovering codependent, she coaches from a trauma-informed place of nonjudgment and compassion.

What's the Difference between Coaching and Therapy?
Both coaching and therapy have myriad complementary benefits for those looking to bring positive change to their lifestyle, mental health, and overall well-being. That being said, recognizing and respecting the unique roles of coaching and therapy is essential.
Rather than delving deeply into the past, coaching focuses on present and future goal-setting to improve the interplay between emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Coaching helps with skill-building, perspective change, and integrating desirable habits.
Therapy assists with these as well, and additionally, often includes understanding and resolving past traumas, treating & diagnosing mental illness, etc.
While coaching can also be of tremendous benefit to those experiencing mental illness or mild -to moderate disruptions in cognition/daily functioning, it is not a substitute for therapy.
